In The Sunday Telegraph recently Toccata Classics received an encomium rare in its directness. In the issue of 3 July Simon Heffer wrote that ‘Toccata's range of obscure European and British composers is awesome, and its recording of them is a cultural project of rare importance’. On the same day the Toccata Classics CD of Josef Suk’s transcriptions of Dvořák songs , where Suk is accompanied by Vladimir Ashkenazy, earned a glowing review from Stephen Pritchard in The Observer; you can read it here.
